Area of activity
The scope of scientific interests of the Group members includes digital image processing and analysis, signal processing, analysis and modeling of electronic systems, biometrics, pattern recognition, Internet of Things, and the security of applications, devices, and computer networks based on biometric features.

Area of activity
MSI members focus on programming and building LEGO Mindstorms NXT robots. They work with MicroCamp 2.0 (Atmega8) and Robo (PIC) kits. They also develop their own Linefollower prototypes. The group organizes internal Linefollower competitions and inter-departmental Sumo tournaments. The flagship project of MSI is the periodically organized national competition Eastrobo. Students participating in the group’s life expand their knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence and self-learning systems. They win awards in national competitions.

Area of activity
Originally, the Group brought together students interested in chess. Today, the repertoire of games has expanded significantly, and the members of the Group are open to new logical, board, or card challenges. They periodically organize Games Night at the Bialystok University of Technology – an event addressed to all game enthusiasts.

Area of activity
Mathematics is everywhere! Enthusiasts associated with the Math4You group know this well. In addition to scientific activity, they try to actively popularize the “Queen of Sciences” among students and school youth. Members of the Group participate in scientific conferences and competitions, and also conduct workshops and lectures. They are involved in organizing many university events, e.g., Pi Day, Podlasie Mathematics Days, and the “Mathematical Christmas Tree” competition.

The “Go Security” Student Research Group is a group of people interested in computer network security issues. It is worth joining them to jointly explore the construction of secure information exchange and storage systems, methods of securing access to end devices in the network, and to consider what errors enable hacker attacks.

Area of activity
The ‘ARMUM’ Student Research Group for Embedded Systems and Machine Learning brings together students interested in modern technologies in the field of embedded systems, automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Members of the Group carry out research and development projects, developing practical competencies in areas such as microcontroller programming, control algorithms, or industrial communication. An important element of the Group’s activity is cooperation with the PLUM company, which supports the technical development of students and enables them to participate in projects close to industrial realities.
