Dr Blanco’s Academic Resume:

Dagoberto Mariño Blanco, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences in the area of Educational Informatics, graduated from the major of Mathematics-Computing at the University of Holguin. Currently advisor of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Department. University professor with 10 years of experience in research and development of applied informatics in the field of education in the Cuban schools (educational software, educational webs, multimedia, LMS platforms, Digital Learning Material, among others. Also main author of the SAdHEA-Web tool used in Cuba for development of Learning Hyperenvironment and Virtual Classroom. Professor of postgraduate courses in Educational Informatics, ICT in Education, Conception and Development of Virtual Learning Environments and ICT in support of scientific research. Author of several publications as a result of their participation in projects. He has worked as a professor and researcher at universities in Venezuela, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, and is currently coordinator at the University of Holguin of an Upgrading Course in Technology in Education for the Tutorial Doctoral Degree. He has been granted many awards as a researcher and innovator including the Award of the Minister of Education and the Prize of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba.

Summary of the presentation:

The content of the presentation is oriented to the experiences obtained at the University of Holguin in terms of conception and development of various Digital Learning Material produced for the teaching and learning process of the university and the schools Cuban.

Particularly, in the presentation talk about on the conceptualization of Digital Educational Materials, its didactic design, the characteristics of the typologies of audiovisual resources that are incorporated and the methodology of development used. Also, it provides the experiences of University of Holguin in the conception and development of Digital Educational Materials.
